Carol Ann Holmes, 79, of Perryton died April 6, 2021.
No services are planned. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
She was born May 25, 1942 in Montrose, CA and graduated from Dundee (OK) High School. She earned a bachelor of science degree in education from Oklahoma College of Liberal Arts. She later earned a master of education degree.
She taught at small elementary schools in Oklahoma before moving to Perryton in 1973. She taught in Waka and Perryton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Holmes; and her parents, Thomas and Martha Morrison.
She is survived by two sons, Christopher Holmes and Health Holmes; and two grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial to the Ranger Academic Enrichment Foundation, P.O. Box 179, Perryton; or the Museum of the Plains, 1200 N. Main, Perryton.
