Jose R. Gonzales
Jose R. Gonzales, 88, of Perryton, died Nov. 7, 2023.
Services will be Friday, Nov. 10, at 2 p.m. at Apostolic Lighthouse Church. Burial will be in Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
Viewing and visitation will be Thursday, Nov. 9, from 9 a.m.-9 p.m., with family visitation from 6-8 p.m. and Friday, Nov. 10, from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
He was born May 21, 1935 in Rocksprings, and married Dolores Martinez on June 15, 1959.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores; his parents, Leonardo and Marcella Gonzales; four children, Marcella Sifuentes, Gloria Uribas, Jason Gonzales and Lupe Gonzales; and two grandsons, Ernie Pina and Dusty Sifuentes.
He is survived by three sons, Michael Gonzales of Booker, Jose Gonzales, Jr., of Perryton and James Gonzales of Corpus Christi; 18 grandchildren; 33 greatgrandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
