Gay Lyn Kile, 71, of Perryton, passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 in Perryton.
Services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at First Baptist Church in Perryton with Rev. Gail Faries officiating. Burial followed in Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.
Gay Lyn Kile was born on February 1, 1952 in Perryton, to Frank and Wilma (Hardy) Gipson. She married Doug Kile on November 17, 1984 in Perryton. She enjoyed going to and putting on parties.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Wilma (Hardy) Gipson; and her daughter-inlaw, Stephanie Bates.
She is survived by her husband, Doug Kile, of the home; daughter, Torri Bates Janzen and husband Rusty of Perryton; son, Kyler Bates of Abilene; sister, Karol Dick of Arlington; brother, Jimmy Gipson of Mansfield; granddaughters, Hanna Bates of Abilene, Emily “Emjay” Bates of Abilene, and Savana Janzen of Perryton.
The family requests memorials be in her name to the Stephanie Strong Foundation, in care of First National of Spearman, P.O. Box 337 Spearman, Texas 79081.
