Edna Lee Grimmer

Edna Lee Grimmer, 91, of Perryton, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2020.

A private family service is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 5, 2020 at 1 p.m. at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Fred Huff and Rev. Kevin Britton officiating. Private family burial will follow in Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.

Due to COVID-19 guidelines, social distancing will be practiced, occupancy numbers will be limited, and masks will be required. Edna was born Dec. 27, 1928 in Mosquero, NM to Frank and Jewel (Hill) Goodhue. She married Lealand Grimmer on June 11, 1950 in Enid, OK.

Edna Lee was a loving and caring ministers’ wife for over 45 years. She had a servant’s heart and loved her family. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ. Edna Lee and Lealand raised their children to love and trust in their Heavenly Father.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lealand Grimmer; her son Savoy Grimmer; her daughter, Dale Stollings; and her parents, Frank and Jewel Goodhue.

Edna Lee is survived by her daughter, Debbie Kinsey and her husband, Steve, of Perryton; sonin-law, David Stollings of Perryton; daughter-in-law, Karen Grimmer of Barksdale; three sisters, Lois Smith, Treva Miller and Della Hill; seven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
