Dustin Ray Sunday, 44, of Perryton, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024 in Perryton.
Viewing will be Thursday, October 10, 2024 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Perryton. The family will be available for visitation on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 11, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Victory Family Church in Perryton, officiated by Rev. Marlon Sparks. Burial will follow in Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Perryton.
Dustin was born on August 19, 1980 in Spearman, to Kenneth Sunday and Sherri Flowers. He worked in the oilfield as a roughneck, and he enjoyed his time there. He was a member of the Victory Family Church in Perryton. He married his wife, Nancy Lamm in August of 2018 in Perryton.
He was a “die hard” Oklahoma University fan, Perryton Rangers and the Dallas Cowboys, and he loved all sports. His children were his pride and joy, and his family was everything to him. He gave the best hugs! He loved watching the news, cooking out smoking ribs and hanging out with his friends.
Dustin was preceded in death by one brother, Heath Bustillos; three aunts, Faye Holder, Evyone Pope, and Stacy McWilliams; one cousin, Nicky Wells; two uncles, Darren Flowers and Quinten Flowers; and his grandparents, Jess and Minnie Sunday.
Dustin is survived by his wife, Nancy Lamm of Perryton; four sons, Greg Walker of Denver, Colorado, Devin Ashmore, Payton Sunday and Hunter Sunday, all of Perryton; one daughter, Haley Sunday of Wichita, Kansas; his grandmother, Berwyn Flowers of Perryton; his father, Kenneth Sunday of Perryton; his mother, Sherri Bustillos of Perryton; three brothers, Cody Sunday and wife, Brittany, of Enid, Oklahoma, Jared Green of Perryton, and Kyler Sunday of New Braunfels; three sisters, Alicia Simpson and husband Nathan of Yukon, Oklahoma, Stasha Sunday and Katina Brock, both of Perryton; one grandchild; and 17 nieces and nephews.
