Willie Chad Dunn, 85, of Comanche, OK died Oct. 15, 2022.
Services were held Wednesday, Oct. 19, at 1 p.m. at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel. Viewing/ visitation will be Friday, Oct. 21, from 9 a.m.-9 p.m., at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, with a celebration of life service from 5-8 p.m. Graveside services will be Saturday, Oct. 22, at 11 a.m. at Ochiltree Cemetery.
He was born May 31, 1937 in Duncan, OK. He graduated from Comanche High School and attended Cameron College in Lawton, OK. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves.
He worked for Halli-burton for 32 years. After retiring, he farmed and rased cattle on the family home place. He married Shirley Jean Beard.
He was a member of Ochiltree Lodge No. 90 in Perryton and completed his 32nd Degree in 1974 at Utah Scottish Rite in Salt City. He became an El Kalah Temple Shriner in 1975. He was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Duncan for 31 years and active in Job’s Daughters and Rainbow Girls.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ester Earl and Johna Mae (Pickett) Dunn; and one brother, Milton “Sam” Dunn.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley, of the home; one daughter, Stacey Ann Fiddler of New York City, NY; one stepdaughter, Deborah Jean Lang of Perryton; one sister, Saundra Thompson of Amarillo; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
