Debra Ann Johnson, 63, of Perryton, passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023 in Perryton. Services were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Perryton with Ron Nobel officiating. Burial followed in Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.
Debra Ann Taylor was born on Sept.18, 1959 in Perryton, to John D. and Veneta Ann (Cook) Taylor. She married Gary Johnson on June 23, 1979 in Perryton.
She was an avid musician, singer and song writer. She was a member of the Huntoon Homemaker Group. She also loved teaching and subbing at the school. She was the nicest person and loved everyone.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Veneta Taylor; brother, Johnny Taylor; father-inlaw and mother-in-law, Billy and Molly Johnson; and sister-in-law Diana Nelson.
Debra is survived by her husband, Gary Johnson, of the home; daughters, Laresa Johnson of Perryton, Rachel (Tyler) Hargrave of Canyon, Cindy (Jack) Parrish of Dallas, and Stacy (Beau) Maddox of Dallas; grandson, Peyton McClain; granddaughters, Caroline West, Taylor Hargrave and Tristen Hargrave; brother, Reece (Kara) Taylor of Perryton; brother-in-law, Braden (Amy) Johnson; nephews, Weston (Kinzy) Taylor, Jacob Johnson, Clay Johnson, and Brandon Johnson; and greatnephew, Cace Taylor.
