Carlos De Santiago
Carlos Abdon De Santiago, 84, died Oct. 31, 2024 in Perryton.
A wake was held Saturday, Nov. 2, at Legion Hall in Booker. A rosary was Sunday, Nov. 3, followed by the vigil. A funeral mass was held Monday, Nov. 4, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, with Father Cesar Gomez officiating. Burial followed at Heart Cemetery in Booker. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
He was born Sept. 3, 1940 in Las Varas, Mexico.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roman and Maria (Carlos) De Santiago; and three brothers, Idelfonso De Santiago, Efren De Santiago and Roberto De Santiago.
He is survived by eight children, Marlina De Santiago, Christina Cervantes, Dony De Santiago, Alex De Santiago and Lupita Estrada, all of Booker, Roman De Santiago and Frankie De Santiago, both of Odessa and Imelda Solis of Albuquerque, NM; four sisters, Maria Huerta of and Lupita Alvarez, both of Fabens, Nena Regalado of El Paso and Emilia Aguirre of Midland; and one brother, Jose De Santiago of El Paso.
