Eula Bernice Knowles Collinsworth, 93, of Perryton, died May 30, 2021.
Services were held Wednesday, June 2, at First Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Laverty officiating. Burial followed in Ochiltree Cemetery under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
She was born Jan. 12, 1928 in Plainview, and grew up in Beaver County, OK. She married J.P. Collinsworth on May 18, 1943 in Canadian. They lived in Perryton until 1949, when they moved to Lipscomb County. They moved back to Perryton in 1969. She was employed in the dietary department of Ochiltree General Hospital for 22 years, four of those as supervisor. She also volunteered as an Ochiltree General Hospital Auxiliary “Pink Lady” from 1993- 2015. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.P.; her parents, Deborah Alexander and Frances Ernest Knowles; one sister, Ruth Menert; one brother, Frank Knowles; and one great-grandson, Devin McGarraugh.
She is survived by two sons, Jim Collinsworth and Joe Collinsworth, both of Perryton; one brother, Bryan Knowles; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to Ochiltree General Hospital Auxiliary or First Baptist Church.
