Charles “CC” Charlson, 82, of Perryton, passed away Friday, Aug. 25, 2023 in Perryton.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Victory Family Church, with Rev. Marlon Sparks officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Funeral Home, Inc. of Perryton.
Mr. Charlson was born on Oct. 27, 1940 in Chickasha, OK to Edwin Charlson and Juanita Cobb. He married his wife, Judith E. Holdeman on May 24, 1959 in Perryton.
He loved collecting cars and building them. He also loved Oklahoma University football. He enjoyed going to coffee with the “guys,” and most especially, he loved his grandchildren.
Mr. Charlson is survived by his daughter, Penny Graves and husband Robert, of Perryton; one granddaughter, Macy Graves of Perryton; one grandson, Jaden Graves and wife Kayla, of Perryton; and two great-grandsons, Kobe Graves and Luke Graves, both also of Perryton.
Mr. Charlson was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Juanita Charlson; his wife Judy; one son, Chuck Charlson; and two brothers, Larry Charlson and Wylie Charlson.
