Carolyn Sue Wadsworth

Carolyn Sue (Quesenbury) Wadsworth passed away Saturday, April 21, 2023 in Wichita, KS. She was 84 years old. She was born in Guymon, OK.

Her parents were Veal and Irene (Hutchison) Quesenbury. They later moved to Meade, KS, where her father owned and operated the ice plant, and her mother was a housewife and raised two daughters. They helped start the Church of Christ in Meade, where she was a member growing up.

She married Mathew P. Wadsworth, and they moved to Perryton. They were married for 43 years.

Carolyn has three children, Greg, Mike and Cindy. One grandson, Zachary, and one great-granddaughter, Norah.

Mother loved to socialize. Anyone who met her always used the same words to describe her saying, “She is the cutest and sweetest person.” She was always making people laugh without even trying. She had a very clever wit that would often catch you off guard. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Life is beautiful and cruel at the same time, but, the beautiful part of it is the one we should cherish.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Mathew P. Wadsworth, and parents,Veal and Irene Quesenbury.

She is survived by her children, Greg (Debia) Feldman, Mike Feldman, Cindy (Feldman) Leis (Joe Cox), and Maria Lopez and Dale Stevens, who were like a daughter and son to her. She is also survived by a grandson, Zachary Leis and great-granddaughter, Norah Lambert; sister, Peggy (Quesenbury) Boyd; nephew, Jerry Boyd (Belinda) and sister-in-law, Kathleen (Kit) Hoffman.
