C.A. Clark, 80, of Perryton, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2022 in Amarillo.
Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 23, 2022, at 2 p.m. at the Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Perryton, with Pastor Terry Turner officiating. Burial followed in Ochiltree Cemetery in Perryton. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Perryton.
Clarence Avert Clark Jr. was born on June 4, 1942, to Clarence A. and Sybel (Friday) Clark, Sr. in Midland. He married Susan Gallagher April 3, 1961 in Midland, and they made their home in Perryton in 1984. He enjoyed golfing and working in the yard.
He is survived by his daughters, Sandy Lea Hooper and husband Tommy of Mt. Pleasant, and Cindy Ann Higgins and husband Denis of McPherson, KS; brother, Tony Clark; sisters, Gwyn Wright, Donna Randolph; 13 grandchildren, 19 greatgrandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Susan; parents, C.A. and Sybel Clark; daughter, Karen Gibson; and sisters, Lavesta Cargile, Carolyn Jackson.
