Billie June (White) Chandler, 91, longtime Perryton, resident, passed away Dec. 30, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
June White was born Jan. 10, 1932 in Sayre, Oklahoma to Glenn and Ruth White. June married Coleman Chandler Sept. 15, 1951 in Clayton, New Mexico. They made their home in Perryton in 1959.
June was a devoted Jehovah’s Witness her entire life. She enjoyed visiting with people, writing letters, reading, taking care of her plants and loved being with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Coleman Chandler and granddaughter Brittanie Chandler.
Survivors include her three children, Linda Nixon and husband Mike Nixon of Perryton, Steve Chandler and wife Debbie of Conway, Arkansas and Stan Chandler of Perryton.
Survivors also include grandchildren, Mikelle Nixon of Perryton, Cole Chandler and wife Jen of Frisco, and Logan Chandler of Conway, Arkansas; and two great grandchildren, Dalan Chandler of Amarillo, and Jaxon Chandler of Frisco.
Private family interment will be in the Elmhurst Cemetery. Services are under the care of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Perryton.
