Ernest Davis Barclay, 99, of Perryton, died Set. 4, 2024.
Graveside services were held Saturday, Sept. 7, at Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
He was born April 30, 1925 in Perryton, and married Bernadine Buxton on July 8, 1950 in Clayton, NM. He served in the United States Navy on the U.S.S. Nashville, and worked as a pipeline engineer in the petroleum industry.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernadine; his parents, Ray and Bessie Fulfer Barclay; three brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by three daughters, Norma Kay Cudd of Perryton, Phyllis Cummings of Spearman and Janie Thomas of Elk City, OK; two sons, David Barclay of Amarillo and Gary Barclay of Enid, OK; 10 grandchildren; 27 greatgrandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to one’s favorite charity.
