Local volunteers for Snack Pak 4 Kids gathered recently at Williams Intermediate Elementary School to pack snacks for hungry kids. Volunteers meet every few weeks to pack snack bags with nutritious food to help food-insecure students stave off hunger. The choir received sweepstakes after receiving 1’s, the highest possible rating, from all three judges at the festival for concert and sight reading. The sixth grade choir will be performing in concert with the junior high’s other choirs on Friday, May 9, at 7 p.m. in the junior high auditorium.
