PJH 7th Grade Girls “B” Basketball

The PJH seventh grade girls “B” basketball team traveled to Pampa Dec. 7 came home with a big 39- 13 win. Perryton was ahead 12-2 after the opening quarter, and by the half they led 21-4.

Lady Deputies JV Basketball

Last Saturday the girls basketball teams from Caprock High School in Amarillo made the long drive to Perryton for an afternoon of basketball. The Lady Deputies had trouble scoring in the first 3 quarters and lost the Junior Varsity game to Caprock 43-31.

Rangers ride first quarter lead to victory

The Ranger basketball team hosted the Gruver Greyhounds on Tuesday night. Perryton was coming off a tough one-point loss to Clarendon and looked to get back in the winning column. After an outstanding first quarter, that turned out to be an easy task on Tuesday.

Lady Deputies JV Basketball

The Lady Deputies made the long drive to River Road Tuesday to take on the River Road girls JV team. The Lady Deputies outscored the Lady Wildcats every quarter to secure a 35-9 victory. The Perryton team scored 6 points in the first quarter to take a 6-2 lead after one period of play.

Rettes dominate on the road

The Rangerette basketball team made a quick trip to Amarillo on Tuesday to face another old district rival in the River Road Lady Wildcats. Perryton dominated the contest from the opening tip and were never challenged. Every Rangerette that suited up for the game scored in the lopsided victory.

PJH 7th Grade Girls “B’ Basketball

The Perryton Junior High seventh grade girls “B” team was in action Nov. 23 and Nov. 30. The girls hosted Canadian Nov. 23, coming up just short in the contest, 16-14. In the first quarter, the score was tied 2-2, and neither team scored in the second period.

PJH 8th Grade Girls “B” Basketball

The PJH eighth grade girls “B” basketball team picked up a win and a loss in recent action. On Nov. 23, they hosted Canadian, losing the contest 29-7. Canadian was ahead 6-0 after the first quarter, and increased that lead to 13-4 by the half.

Lady Deputies JV Basketball

The Lady Deputies traveled to Tulia on Nov. 23 and came home with a big win. The Lady Deputies outscored the Tulia JV in every quarter. Perryton scored 9 points in the first quarter with all of the buckets scored by Mackenzie Stokes.

Rangerettes Basketball

The Rangerette basketball team juggled its regular schedule due to Covid issues with other schools. After cancelling a scheduled game at WT High, the Rettes picked up a game in Tulia on Monday.

Rangers Basketball

The Ranger basketball team hit the hardwood under the direction of new head coach Rhyan Daugherty despite missing some players due to the football playoffs. Perryton opened play against an old district rival in the Dalhart Wolves.
