Bransgrove rites set

Eleanor Bransgrove, 94, of Perryton, died Jan. 9, 2021. Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 15, at 2 p.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church with Rev. Gary McClellan officiating. Burial will follow in Gray Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.

Darrin Flowers

Darrin Flowers, 55, of Perryton passed away on Jan. 8, 2021 in Perryton. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021 at Victory Family Church with Rev. Marlon Sparks, pastor, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Donald Ray Scott

Donald Ray Scott passed on Dec. 26, 2020 in San Antonio, at the age of 85. He was born in Scott City, Kansas to Preston and Thelma Scott Feb. 7, 1935. He grew up in Perryton, graduating from Perryton High School in 1953.

Robert Lee Neelley

Robert Lee Neelley, 79, of Friona, passed away Dec. 30, 2020. Viewing will be held from 1-8 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021 in the Ron Smiley Memorial Chapel of Hansard Family Funeral Home of Friona, with visitation from 5-7 p.m. Masks are highly encouraged during the visitation.

Jimmie Gaunder

James “Jimmie” H. Gaunder, 85, of Denison, and a longtime resident of Perryton, passed away Sunday, Dec. 20, 2020, in Colbert, OK. Jimmie was born March 10, 1935, in Taos, NM, to Paul and Marina (Martinez) Gaunder. He married Rose Penn on July 16, 1956, in Clayton, NM.

Jose Martinez

Jose Martinez, 52, of Perryton, passed away Dec. 25, 2020. A funeral service was scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 29, 20202 p.m. at Key Heights Baptist Church with Terry Williams officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton. Jose Martinez.

Rites held for Shults

Trula Shults, 76, of Perryton, died Dec. 30, 2020. Graveside services were held Monday, Jan. 4, at Rowe Cemetery in Hedley. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home. She was born in Clarendon, and married James Shults on Oct. 1, 1960 in Clarendon.

Miller rites are pending

Stacy Miller, 63, of Darrouzett, died Jan. 2, 2021. Services will be scheduled at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Booker. He was born June 30, 1957 in Oklahoma City, and married Norma Davidson July 4, 2003 in Darrouzett.

Rites held for Cates

Hadley Dale Cates 20, of Elmwood, OK, died Dec. 24, 2020 in Lubbock. Graveside services were held Monday, Dec. 28 at Capitol View Cemetery in Elmwood with Blake Terrell officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Booker. He was born March 27, 2000.
