Lila M. Hergert, 90, of Indianapolis, IN, formerly of Spearman, died Jan. 17, 2021. Due to COVID-19, graveside services will be planned at a later date. She was born Dec. 3, 1940 in Topeka, KS and married Donald K. Hergert in Topeka, KS.

Robert Paul “Bob” Taylor, 74, of Perryton, died Jan. 15, 2021 in Amarillo. Services will be held Thursday, Jan. 21, at 1 p.m. at the Church of Christ with Rev. Mikel Petersen officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery in El Dorado, AR.

Ricky Jo Pulpan

Ricky Jo Pulpan, 69, of Booker passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021. No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Amarillo. Ricky was born on Dec. 6, 1951, to Keith and Jean Stovall in Slaton.

Margetta Shaw, 90, of Mount Pleasant, formerly of Perryton, died Jan. 18, 2021. Graveside services will be held Saturday, Jan. 23, at 1 p.m. at Ochiltree Cemetery with Rev. Don Sides officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.

Former resident dies Jan. 7

Colleen Shirley Draper Jones, of Joshua, formerly of Perryton, died Jan. 7, 2021 in Cleburne. No services were scheduled. She is survived by her husband, Thad Jones, of Joshua; one son, Theron Jones of Joshua; and one daughter, Ruhoma Tickner of San Angelo.

Alfredo P. Godino, 83, of Booker died Jan. 12, 2021. Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 15, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Booker with Father Cesar Gomez officiating. Burial followed at Heart Cemetery in Booker.

Marcos Manuel Vigil, 76 of Perryton, passed away Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Canadian, with Msgr. Michael Colwell officiating. Burial will follow in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery.
