United Way fund drive already off to good start

The Ochiltree United Way’s 2026 campaign is off to a good start, and has already raised 20% of its $98,000 goal.There is also one 100% Company, meaning every employee contributed to United Way. Perryton National Bank is the first on the list.

Ochiltree County 4-H held their annual awards ceremony Tuesday evening at the Ochiltree County Expo Center. The winner of the Gold Star Award, the highest county award that can be given to a 4-H member was Kyle Oquin, who received a plaque from the county, a pin, and a certificate from the state. In addition to free lab testing for cholesterol, thyroid issues, blood sugar, and more, attendees also got to chat with local health care experts about OGH programs and offices, as well as visiting informational and promotional booths throughout the fair.
