Scott Thomas Archer, ,76, of Perryton, died May 12, 2026.
Services were held Friday, May 15, at Community Worship Center, with Mikel Petersen officiating, assisted by Nolan Silvey. Burial followed in Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
He was born Oct. 26, 1949 in Perryton, and married Shirley Burns on May 11, 1973 in Perryton. He was a farmer and rancher. He also competed in drag car racing, taking runner up at national finals. He was a member of Community Worship Center.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Shelby Ann Archer; and his parents, Dan and Opal (Thomas) Archer.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley, of the home; three sons, Daniel Archer of Perryton, Michael Archer of Guymon, OK and Graysun Archer; two daughters, Kate-Lynn Archer and Kylea Archer; three grandchildren; and one greatgrandchild.
The family suggests memorials to one’s favorite charity.
