Loren Miller, 92, of Perryton, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2023 in Perryton.
A graveside inurnment service is scheduled for 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 7, 2023 in Garden City, KS at Valley View Cemetery with Rev. Marlon Sparks officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Perryton.
Mr. Miller was born May 19, 1930 in Lincoln, NE to Carl and Edna Frohn Miller. He graduated from Pulaski High School in Pulaski, IA in 1948. He served as a Navy Seabee, where he was a heavy machinery operator, building airports and roads in French Morocco and Cuba for four years.
On November 23, 1950, he married the love of his life Virginia Irene Bennett and they enjoyed 66 years of marriage.
Mr. Miller is survived by his two children, daughter Gail Douglas and son, Mark Miller and wife Debbie, all of Perryton; sister, Vera Welty and husband, Don of Iowa Fall, IA; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Edna Miller; wife, Virginia; and brother, Stanley Miller.
