Kris Erickson

Kristine Claire Erickson, 82, of Perryton, Texas passed away Monday, August 10, 2026 at her home.

Her funeral service were held Saturday, August 15, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at First Methodist Church in Perryton, Texas, with Rev. Mark Metzger officiating. A private family burial was held at 2:30 p.m. at the Erickson Ranch. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Perryton.

Kris was born on September 27, 1943 in Flint, Michigan to Warren Dykema and Mary Sinclair Dykema.

She graduated high school from Thomas Jefferson High School and graduated from the University of Texas with a bachelor’s degree. She married her husband, John Erickson, on August 26, 1967 in Dallas.

She was a member of First Methodist Church of Perryton, and was a member of the choir there. She was a Daughter of the American Revolution. She was also in the Quilt Guild and the Jennie June Club.

Kris is survived by her husband, John; two sons, Scot Erickson and wife Kenzi and Mark Erickson and wife Amber; one daughter, Ashley Wilson and husband Randy; grandchildren Kale Erickson, Alyssa Erickson, and Cameron Wilson and wife Sierra; great-grandchildren Myles Wilson, Jasper Wilson, and Zeke Wilson; and one brother Scot Dykema of Dallas.

Kris was preceded in death by her parents; and one granddaughter Re-Anna Wilson.
