First Baptist schedules VBS First Baptist Church at 415 S. Baylor in Perryton has set this summer’s Vacation Bible School for July 25-29 from 6-8:30 p.m. for children ranging from age four up to completing sixth grade. The event is free for all kids.

School may be out for the summer, but Snack Pak 4 Kids is still working hard to make sure kids get delicious and nutritious snacks. The organization is distributing snack bags every Thursday through the end of July from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Stark Park, Leatherman Park, and Murphy Park.

July 4 fireworks show set

Ochiltree County residents will get to celebrate Independence Day as they have for years, with the Perryton Lions Club hosting its Annual Fourth of July Fireworks at Lake Fryer in Wolf Creek Park on Sunday, July 4. The display will begin just after dusk, about 9:30-9:45 p.m.
