Kinder enrollment set for April 28
Enrollment at Perryton Kinder is scheduled for Thursday, April 28, from 1-3 p.m. at the Perryton ISD administration building at 821 SW 17th Avenue. Children must be five years old by Sept. 1 to enroll. You can complete enrollment online at www.perrytonisd.org. If you are unable to complete the enrollment online, you may do so at the administration office. You must bring the following documents to the administration office: your child’s birth certificate, their current shot record, and either a Social Security card, a passport, or a baptismal record. If the documents are not presented at the administration office, your child will not be enrolled and will not be able to attend school.
Crisis center sets annual golf tourney
Panhandle Crisis Center’s 25th Annual Golf Tournament will be Saturday, May 7, at 9 a.m. at the Perryton municipal golf course. The tournament will be a twoplayer scramble. Entry fee is $50 per player and includes green fees, mulligans, beverages during play, and lunch. Golfers must sign up by Wednesday, May 4, by calling the crisis center at 806-435-5008 between 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The center will need both team members’ names and handicaps and a phone number for one team member.
Golf tournament to benefit United Way
The United Supermarket/United Way golf tournament will be held on Saturday, April 23, beginning at 10 a.m. All proceeds from the tourney will benefit the United Way.
Soccer sign up underway
The Perryton Activity Center is currently signing up youth for the youth soccer spring league. All boys and girls from pre-K through sixth grade are encouraged to play. Fee is $40 for PAC members and $70 for nonmembers. The deadline to sign up is Friday, April 29, at 8 p.m. Games will start June 6. For more information, call Daniel Broome at 806-435-3661.

Snack Pak 4 Kids sets Supermarket Sweep
Snack Pak 4 Kids will hold a Supermarket Sweep fundraising event on Thursday, April 14, at 7:30 p.m. at United Supermarket. Raffle tickets will be on sale for $2 each or three for $5. Two raffle tickets will be drawn to choose the contestants in the contest. The two contestants will receive different shopping lists. The first one finished shopping with the exact items on the list will win a $500 gift card to United; the second place finisher will receive a $300 gift card to United. Contestants may designate someone to shop for them. Current United employees are excluded.
Balko Lions to hold consignment sale
The Balko Lions Club will hold its 47th annual consignment sale on Saturday, April 30, at 10 a.m. at the Balko School. Consignments will be taken through April 29, but to be on the sale bill, they must be turned in by April 11. Elks to hold annual golf tourney
The 17th Annual Elks Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday, May 14, at the Perryton Municipal Golf Course. All proceeds from the tournament will go towards scholarships for area high school seniors. Scholarship forms may be picked up at the Perryton Elks Lodge at 4 SW 9th in Perryton, between the hours of 5-9 p.m.

Crisis Center store sets donation times
Due to limited capacity, the Panhandle Crisis Center Resale Store will accept donations the 1st-15th of every month during regular business hours: Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. They will not accept any donations the 16th through the end of each month. There is a limit of three bags/boxes per donor. Please do not drop off donations if they are not open, including holidays.

The Perryton ISD is looking for children ages 3-21 years who may be slow in developing communication skills, social interactions, walking skills and or have major physical disabilities. We want to give your child the chance to get the extra help her/she needs if the disability interferes with his/her education.
