Kathy Anderson, 89, of Perryton, went to be with the Lord on May 13, 2022.
A funeral service was scheduled for Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at 10 a.m. at the Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Perryton. Burial followed in Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton, Texas.
Kathy was born in Haskell to Robert Lee and Edith (Jones) Long. She married Bobby Anderson December 5, 1964 in Brownfield. All of her children and many of their friends were welcomed into her home and loved. She wore the name “Grandma Kathy” with honor. Her therapy was working in her yard.
Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Anderson; sons, Robert Burns and Bobby Dale Anderson; parents, Robert and Edith Jones; and brother, Sonny Long.
She is survived by her children, Linda Adams and Husband Bill of Odessa, Shirley Archer and husband Scott of Perryton, Brenda Burns of Austin, Rick Anderson of Prosper, and Jerry Anderson of Perryton; her sister, Yvonne Gregory; grandchildren, Thomas Hebert and wife Kristen, Daniel Archer and wife Torie, Michael Archer and wife Wendy, Kate-Lynn, Kylea, Graysun, April Duric and husband Boris, Vex May, Percy May, James Burns, Jonathan Burns, Stormy Burns, Kristopher Burns and wife Jeanna, Jeremy Anderson, and Megan Anderson. She is also survived by numerous greatgrandchildren.
