Floyd Reynolds

Floyd Reynolds, 88, of Perryton, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2025 in Perryton.

Viewing will be Wednesday, April 9, 2025 from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday, April 10, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday, April 11, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and the family will be at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home to receive visitors Friday, April 11, 2025 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Viewing will also be Saturday, April 12, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 1 p.m. at Key Heights Baptist Church in Perryton, officiated by Rev. Duce Cooper assisted by Keith Harris. Burial will follow at Ochiltree Cemetery in Perryton. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Perryton.

Floyd was born on January 25, 1937 in Booker, to Fred Oscar Reynolds and Ella Olenburger Reynolds. He married his wife, Lanora Newman on February 16, 1958 in Booker. He was a member of the Key Heights Baptist Church in Perryton, Texas. He served in the Navy on the USS St. Paul.

Floyd is survived by his wife, one daughter, Belinda Kates and husband Jerry of Stigler, Oklahoma; two sons, David Reynolds and wife Nancy of Blue Springs, Missouri, and Dan Reynolds and wife Sherry of Stigler, Oklahoma; two granddaughters, Kimberly Lashley and Morgan Crawford; four grandsons, Kevin Kates, Kent Kates, Derek Reynolds, and Brian Reynolds; 17 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Floyd was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Albert Reynolds and wife Mildred, Clinton Reynolds and wife Betty, Archie Reynolds and wife Jeanette; and two sisters, Virginia Munch and Lois Taylor and husband Rusty.
