KNECHT SPEAKS AT LEADERSHIP PERRYTON SERIES
Ochiltree County 4-H held their annual awards ceremony Tuesday evening at the Ochiltree County Expo Center. The winner of the Gold Star Award, the highest county award that can be given to a 4-H member was Kyle Oquin, who received a plaque from the county, a pin, and a certificate from the state. 4-H ARCHERS COMPETE AT TRI-STATE FAIR—Students participating in Ochiltree County 4-H’s archery program competed in the Tri-State Fair’s archery competition on Monday, Sept. 15, in Amarillo. There were 40 archers competing in the contest, with ten of those coming from Ochiltree County. Pictured are, from left, Grace Hampton, who won third overall in Recurve Senior, Gabrielle Heck, who took reserve in Recurve Junior, and Ethan Flores, who was reserve in Recurve Senior.
