PHS SOLOISTS HEADING FOR STATE
Members of Leadership Perryton XXIV participated in Reality Day, a poverty simulation, on Wednesday, learning about some of the realities and challenges faced by low-income families. Participants in the simulation were given simple roles to play during the project, including newly unemployed people, homeless people, recipients of TANF funds, senior citizens on disability, and single parents. The task assigned to all was to provide basic necessities and shelter during the course of four 15-minute weeks.

OGH board approves Childers-Siewert Building renovations
The Rotary Club’s annual Cherry Pie Contest was held on Saturday, Feb. 21. Judges for the contest got to enjoy dozens of delicious pies and desserts that were entered into the competition.
