PHS scholars recognized at Academic Awards

Perryton High School students were honored and recognized Monday evening for their academic achievements during the year at the Academic Awards Banquet held in the Rangerette Gym.Madelyn Schickedanz was announced as the valedictorian of the Class of 2024, with Carlos Hernandez as the salutatorian.

MR. AND MISS PHS Julian Cervantes and Breanna Castanon were crowned Mr. and Miss PHS during Perryton High School’s Senior Skip Day event on Thursday, May 2, at the Museum of the Plains. PHS graduation is coming up on Saturday, May 18, at 11 a.m. at Ranger Field.

Perryton High School’s Class of 2024 will hold its commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 18, at 11 a.m. at Ranger Field.PHS graduates will be seated on the field and will face the home stands. Entrances for families and other guests will be through the east ticket gate.
