After months of drought and meager rainfall that did nothing to alleviate dry conditions, Perryton and Ochiltree County finally received plentiful rain this week, as several storms provided much-needed precipitation to thirsty yards and fields.
The most rainfall recorded came from Randy and Cami Skaggs, one mile southeast of town, with 2.60 inches of rain.
