Family Archaeology Day, held last Saturday at the Museum of the Plains, gave kids and adults lots of ways to learn about the science of archaeology, including carefully sifting through an artificial archaeology dig to find artifacts, fossils, unusual stones, and more. Attendees at the event also got to enjoy art, crafts, games, and much more. Pictured looking for artifacts in the artificial archaeology dig are Lauren Goza and Juliza Thomas, age 7.
