The Ochiltree County Commissioners held a special meeting on Monday to swear in Eric Kerl as the county’s new Justice of the Peace. The previous Justice of the Peace, Bucky Goldsberry, died in March. Since he ran unopposed in the recent primary election, the county and the Republican County Executive Committee appointed Kerl to fill the position through at least Dec. 31 of this year.
