Diamond is the hardest naturally occurring substance, and is also one of the most valuable natural substances. Diamonds are crystals formed almost entirely of carbon. Because of its hardness, the diamond is the most enduring of all gemstones.

Jennie Junes enjoy luncheon

The Jennie June Club met May 11 at the Senior Citizen Center for a luncheon. Hostesses were Janelle Cochran, Frances Aston and Arlene Boxwell. Following lunch, president Kara Malaney conducted the business meeting, opened by the reading of the collect.

The night group of the Friendship Quilt Guild met May 10 at the Community WorshipCenter . The meeting was opened and presided over by pesident Pam Sanders. Minutes were read by secretary Myrna Biggers, and the treasurer’s report given by Cynthia Shattles.
