American Legion to hold Memorial Day program

The Harry P. Stumpf American Legion Post 254 will host this year’s Memorial Day ceremony at the Ochiltree County Cemetery on Monday, May 25. The ceremony will begin at 10 p.m.

Social distancing guidelines will be observed for the ceremony, which will be livestreamed on the organization’s Facebook page.

The opening prayer will be offered by Victory Family Church pastor Marlon Sparks. That will be followed by the posting of colors by the Perryton Color Guard, Post 254.

After the Pledge of Allegiance and National Anthem, Post Commander Raymond Broadbent will make opening remarks.
