Rangerette Volleyball

The Rangerette volleyball team traveled to Dalhart for a must-win situation on Tuesday. A victory by the Rettes would force a winner take all match to determine which of the two teams goes to the playoffs. A win by the Lady Wolves would send them to the playoffs as the last representative of District 2-4A.

Dalhart won the first district match in a four-game set. All four of those games were close as the teams are evenly matched. Tuesday’s game looked to be a good contest.

Dalhart used their homecourt advantage on Tuesday and had an easy time. The Rangerettes struggled to generate an offensive attack. Hitting and defensive errors stifled the Rettes throughout the match. Dalhart won the match in three games by the scores of 25-16, 25-15 and 25-17.
