Pat Tregellas

Patricia Ann Arnold Tregellas, 91, of Perryton, died Oct. 27, 2019 in Booker.

A graveside service was held at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2019 at Ochiltree Cemetery and a memorial service was held at 1 p.m. that day at First United Methodist Church in Perryton, both officiated by Rev. Mark Metzger. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.

Mrs. Tregellas was born on Feb. 9, 1928 in Pampa in Gray County, to Ralph Arnold and Zelma Cole Arnold. Pat grew up at the ranch south of Booker, especially enjoying her horse, Ranger. She attended Valley Park School for her elementary years, then she attended and graduated from Perryton High School in 1945.

She married William Thomas Tregellas on March 16, 1949. They made their home at the ranch. Two sons, Rusty and Rocky Tregellas were born to Bill and Pat. Pat was active on the farm and ranch with Bill and her father, Ralph.

Pat was a member of the Jennie June Club, and she was a pink lady at Ochiltree General Hospital. She was the first Miss Perryton, and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Perryton.

She was the ultimate hostess and a fantastic cook. Pat was a loving mother and a very proud grandma! Pat was a faithful friend as many will attest to. The boys especially remember Pat’s fried chicken and her chicken and rice. Later in life, Pat married Bill Mc-Clure.

Mrs. Tregellas is survived by two sons; Rusty and Donnita, Rocky and Janet; grandchildren Rochelle and Shawn Fouts, Sharalyn and Jay Mayden, Brian and Jessica Tregellas, and Blake and Sarah Tregellas; Sheldon, Shannon and Shaddon Laverty; great-grandchildren Jackson Fouts, Caleb and Trenton Mayden, Charlotte Tregellas and Theodore Tregellas; and sisters-in-law Neva Belle Lewis, Willie Tregellas and Patsy Rist.

Mrs. Tregellas was preceded in death by her husband, W. T., her parents and Bill McClure.
