Although the game got off to a rocky start for Perryton, the Ranger defense held the Bobcat offense in check throughout most of the game, and the Rangers notched a 22-14 win over Childress Friday night at Ranger Field.

Kenny Ramirez had a good night as well, scoring 16 of the Rangers’ points with three field goals, one touchdown and an extra point.

The Rangers took the opening kick off and started at their own 19 yard line. They moved the ball to the 36 yard line before fumbling the ball to Childress. Luckily, the Bobcats couldn’t capitalize. Going for it on fourth down, Ranger Jahir Romero dropped Bobcat quarterback Collin Bishop for a 3 yard loss and Perryton took over.
