Storms drop close to four inches

After a large storm over the weekend on Saturday night that brought almost four inches to many places in the area, the storms continued, with a small storm Monday night and again on Tuesday night.

The official rainfall for the City of Perryton, from KEYE, was a total of 3.77 inches of rain.

Edwin and Wanda Larmon, in the 2100 block of Grinnell, reported a total of 3,85 inches. Vern Meller, at Central and Drake, recorded a total of 3.70 inches of moisture.

Mary Dudley, in the central part of town received a total of 4.25 inches. Randy and Cami Sckaggs, one mile southeast for town, picked up a total of 3.72 inches of rain.

Steve Johnson, 13 miles northwest of town, reported a total of .61 of an inch. Foster Testing, in Farnsworth, recorded a total of 4.80 inches of moisture.

Bev Burger, six miles southwest of Farnsworth, received a total of 2.37 inches. Ron Stinson, in Waka, picked up a total of 1.32 inches of rain.
