March weather warmer with some moisture

The month of March showed a warming trend for daytime temperatures and an accumulation of rain. There were two snow events with blowing snow on March 3 of less than an inch and more blowing snow the next day of less than a half inch.

The daytime temperatures during the snow events were below freezing. The snow was so dry there was no moisture recorded.

The area received .02 of an inch of rain on March 9, .38 of an inch on March 12 and .88 of an inch on March

13. Later in the month the area received .76 of an inch on March 23, .03 of an inch on March 24 and .03 of an inch on March 25. The area saw trace amounts with .02 of an inch on March 28 and .01 of an inch on March 29 for a total for the month of 2.10 inches of rain.
