Janell Campbell was named Young Careerist for the month by Panhandle Professional Women’s Club.

She is the operations engineer for BPX Energy, and considers it her profession. The training and qualifications necessary for her profession include a “bachelors degree in engineering, and graduation from BP’s new hire program, which required a minimum of 3 years of training and experience,” she said.

She would advise others to enter her profession, saying, “You can do a lot with an engineering degree. The pay is substantial, the positions are typically very flexible, the work is diverse, and it can lead to a very rewarding career.”
