PHS one act play wins district; to perform for public on March 24

The Perryton High School drama department presented the one act play “The Girl in the White Pinafore” by Jiggs Burgess at the district competition held in Borger on Feb. 28. The play won district, and the drama students will present the play at Bi-District on March 28 at Lubbock Estacado.

There were special awards for a number of the cast and crew. Sarah Reihm was named Best Actress and Thomas Heflin was named Best Actor. Vance Vyoral was named to the All Star Cast and Alyssa Glassey was named honorable mention. Haylee Cator was named Best Stage Manager and Isaiah Tanner was named Best Lights.

Members of the cast include Cadynce Scott as Amelia Davis; Sarah Reihm as Mary Davis; Ellis Bigham as John Davis; Thomas Heflin as William Chesley Shaw; Alyssa Glassey as Nadine Davis Williams; Yoseli Madrano as Lucy Everett; and Vance Vyoral as Mr. Butler.
