Wolf Creek DAR has program on early Ochiltree County schools

The Wolf Creek Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution met Jan. 22 at First United Methodist Church.

The program was given by Perryton Junior High principal Dimitri Garcia. He gave a presentation about “Early Ochiltree County Schools.”

Regent Sherrie Rima opened the meeting. The invocation was given by chaplain Kathy Allred. Debra Dye led the pledges to the U.S. and Texas flags, Carolyn Thomas led the National Anthem, and Rima led the American Creed.

Rima read portions of President General Ann Turner Dillon’s message emphasizing how vital volunteers are to organizations and the community.
