Friday’s game was an important one for the Rangerette basketball team. After suffering two consecutive losses, the Rettes desperately needed a win against Borger to stay in control of second place in the district standings.

Perryton relied on their senior leadership to help get back into the win column on Friday. They defeated the Lady Bulldogs easily on the road by the score of 45-26.

Graison Moseley, Kynleigh Vela, Hannah North, Klaudia Johnson and Kate Ramirez started the game for Perryton. K. Vela and North rained down three-point baskets in the opening period to give the Rettes a lead that they would not relinquish. K. Vela nailed 2 three-point baskets and North also tossed in a three-pointer. Johnson did her part at the free throw line going 4 for 4 in the first quarter. Perryton led by the score of 13-7 at the end of the quarter.
