The Ranger basketball team started the second round of district play on the road in Borger. The two teams met earlier in the district season in a game that the Rangers won easily by the score of 56-31. Friday was no different, as the Rangers controlled the game from the opening tip and went on to win by the final score of 68-41.

The Rangers hit the floor running and dominated the first half. They led by the score of 22-8 at the end of the first period. Griffin Brosowske scored at will in the first quarter for the Rangers. He posted 12 points from outside the arc and by driving to the rim. Ryan Davis started strongly with 7 points.

It was more of the same in the second quarter. Brosowske scored 14 more points and Davis added in two long three-point shots. Ethan Kerl entered the books with 4 points while Johan Carrasco scored a free throw. The Rangers held a comfortable lead at the half by the score of 47-19.
