Early season scoring struggles continued for the Perryton Rangerettes at home on Tuesday. Perryton has played well in all but one quarter of each game this season. Unfortunately, the lack of scoring in that one quarter has stifled the team in the early season.

Perryton hosted the Gruver Lady Greyhounds on Tuesday. The action was the first for each team coming out of the Thanksgiving break. The Rettes struggled in the third quarter of the game and were defeated by the final score of 52-46.

Kynleigh Vela came out with the hot hand for the Rangerettes in the first quarter by scoring 5 points. Those 5 points led each team’s scoring in the period. Hannah North nailed a three-point basket while Kate Ramirez and Cassidy Farney each converted a two-point basket. The Rettes led by the score of 12-10 as the quarter ended.
