Rangers split with Dalhart

The Perryton Rangers and the Ranger fans went to a less than hospitable venue Tuesday night. Games in Dalhart are always strongly contested. The set-up of the gymnasium also creates opportunities for fan conflicts which are not always handled well by the home team’s administration. Perryton’s staff worked hard to maintain order in the crowded, undersized gymnasium.

Such was the case on Tuesday night. Offense was abundant as the Rangers and Wolves battled it out. Dalhart’s offense caught fire in the second quarter and burned throughout the rest of the game.

The Wolves won the second match-up by the score of 82-70. Perryton won the first game between the two teams by the score of 73- 61 earlier in the season in Perryton.
