Lady Falcons sweep Rettes

The Bushland Lady Falcons continue to improve as a team on the basketball season and flexed their muscles Friday in Perryton. They lead the district and are in the position to win another district championship. The Rangerettes entered the game in need of a win to contend for the district title. Bushland won the first game between the two teams by a score of 56-35.

Friday’s game was controlled throughout by the Lady Falcons. They won by the final score of 53-21. Scoring was limited in the first quarter for both teams. The first points of the game were not scored until halfway through the first quarter. The Rettes failed to score in the opening quarter and trailed 6-0 as the period ended.
