Rangers thump Mustangs

The Ranger basketball team played their last predistrict game on Tuesday and looked very impressive.

The Claude Mustangs were no match for the productive Ranger offense.

The Rangers dominated the Mustangs and won easily going away by the final score of 81-22. Ryan Davis led the Ranger offense in the first quarter with 5 points including a three-point basket. Payton Muir score 4 points inside the arc in the quarter.

Perryton jumped out to a lead of 16-6 as the first period ended. Perryton outscored the Mustang game total in the second quarter as the offense caught fire. The Rangers burned the nets with 27 points. Maurice Limas and Griffin Brosowske each poured in 8 points in the period.

The Rangers led by the score of 43-15 at intermission.
