The 3-7 Rangers were on fire last Friday night, with prolific passing and running, and a tough defense, propelling them to a big 58-27 win over the 9-1 Fort Stockton Panthers, and the bi-district title.

The Rangers faced a tough Seminole team last Friday night in a long road trip away game, losing the contest 56-28. The Rangers will travel to Lubbock this Friday in a bidistrict match up with the Fort Stockton Pioneers.

After a rout in their last game against West Plains, the Rangers came roaring back last Friday, handily defeating the Borger Bulldogs, 41-14, at Ranger Field. The win puts the Rangers’ district record at 2-1, and 36 overall.

The West Plains Wolves scored early and often last Thursday in Canyon, routing the Rangers 72-6 in district action. The Rangers ran into a buzz saw of a team, with the Wolves dominating on both offense and defense in the contest.

The Canadian Wildcats showed why they are the no. 1 team in the state in 3A, DII Friday night at Ranger Field, proving to be an unstoppable force. They scored on nine of their 11 possessions to cruise to a 63-13 victory.

The Rangers lost another close contest, 42-34, to the Canyon Eagles on the road. The loss drops the Rangers record to 0-2 on the young season.
