Banks McGarraugh

Banks McGarraugh, 82, of Perryton, passed away Monday, February 12, 2024 in Perryton.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Ochiltree Cemetery, with Rev. John Scott officiating.

Mr. McGarraugh was born on August 20, 1941 in Perryton, to Albert McGarraugh and Sybil Ranson.

He met Gail Flashover, the mother of his sons, in college at Fort Collins, Colorado. They married in 1963. After graduating college in 1965, they began their life together and had four sons. He farmed around Perryton his entire life.

Mr. McGarraugh was preceded in death by his parents, Albert McGarraugh and Sybil Ranson; one son, Brad McGarraugh; one grandson Devin McGarraugh; one sister, Dorothy; and his step-mother, Jane McGarraugh.

Mr. McGarraugh is survived by three sons, Kevin McGarraugh and wife Paula, Matt McGarraugh, both of Perryton, and Josh McGarraugh and wife Jennifer of Parker, Colorado; five grandchildren, Bailey McGarraugh and wife Hannah, Nolan McGarraugh, Samuel, Madeline and Logan McGarraugh; and three great-grandchildren, Charli, Emilia and Parker McGarraugh.
